Buc-ee's up for incentives to build big travel center in San Marcos

The company – known for its Texas-sized gas stations and convenience stores – on Feb. 20 will be considered by the San Marcos City Council for incentives to open on the southbound frontage of I-35 south of Yarrington Road, according to Council documents. This one may have 175 charging spots for electric cars, and the average wage at the “gas station” will be about $50,000.
